Residents of Soshanguve take matters into their own hands

Selekane Kutoane (39), a woman whom the criminals took her belongings said, “It was around 21:00 p.m. when someone began knocking, I asked who he was but he never responded and I told him I wouldn’t open until I knew who he was, he then said I must open or he will break the door and kill everyone inside.” She elaborated further that because she was scared, she let them in, and the two guys in balaclavas carrying guns threatened her not to scream and then took her children’s cell phones, as well as her own, a laptop, and a television and drove away. “ I have opened a case and I was no the only victim,” she said.
