Little Manhattan got disqualified after physical fight in the field

Little Manhattan competed against Matemba FC, the soccer tournament took place at TUT main campus on Saturday, 15th of April however the match did not end as expected, this comes after little Manhattan got disqualified after they disputed the referee’s decision which led to a physical fight. Although they were leading with two goal to one.
"Both of the teams were doing a great on the ground,
that was a fair game up until the referee said, there should be a penalty for
the other team because of a foul, ‘’my player did not kick the other player,
that was a fair game, I understand why my players were angry," said
Sandile Dlamini, coach of the Little Manhattan team.

The referee of the game Smangaliso Mayile said, "I was
so shocked when I saw the other team attacking me because that was a fair game
and that was supposed to be a penalty, and what they did is considered as a
violent conduct, and they were immediately disqualified from the tournament
match because they fought me."
Mthandeni Gama a player from little Manhattan team said, “I did not do anything to the player, I just blocked the ball and the referee is choosing the sides because he is one of their own, he just wanted to cover the other team, that was not supposed to be a penalty at all.”

Everything was resolved and no player was injured. Sandile
Dlamini concluded and said, “We as a team we are looking forward for the future
matches and learn from our mistakes and I will make sure this incident never
happens again.”
