Killers FC won against Junction

The soccer tournament was between Killer FC and Junction was held at Soshanguve South Campus on the 20th of May 2023. The match ended up with a draw of 1-1 between the two teams and moved to penalties and Killers FC won 5-4.

Obakeng Maluleki, the couch of Killers FC said, “I was happy with how my players played. As a couch sometimes it is difficult to deal with players because I am supposed to deal with their different mindset, but I am managing to train them perfectly.”

He further explained that the first half was difficult because, the power of both teams was strong during of the game. “Penalties are not our strength sometimes, but I am glad they pushed so hard to win during the penalties,” Obakeng added.

“The game was just fine, we got a chance to rectify our past mistakes and we tried to push more to win on the penalties, we only need to practice more and keep on adjusting to the sizes of different soccer fields,” said Sphiwe Dlamini, a player from Killer FC team.

Sipho Mkhwanazi the couch of Junction team said that the game was fine, and he was happy with how his players fought until the game ended with penalties although they had so many opportunities to score but unfortunately, they did not manage to convert them.

Both teams played well and tried their best in the tournament and unfortunately there was one team that had to win.
