Taxi drivers chase foreigners at the taxi rank

Only South Africans are permitted to trade after verification. They stated that they are tired of illegal foreigners dealing with drugs and counterfeit goods and have sworn to keep the BREE taxi rank drug-free.   According to the taxi drivers, foreigners are pretending to be selling equipment’s, food and clothing while they know behind that they are selling drugs for their children. They said they won’t even allow one Nigerian inside Bree taxi rank because they can use other ways to sell their drugs inside the rank. “We have been quite about this issue it is time for the foreigners to leave this rank, we have been seeing people going in and out and it is the same people which we discovered that there is something behind selling equipment’s and clothing,” said Sakhile Ndlovi, a taxi driver. ...

He was born in Eastern Cape at Gqeberha. As a photographer who comes from humble beginnings, he managed to get his first camera through selling ice blocks at campus, and around the community on his free time. Lazola Chiliwe   Lazola said that he is patient about his craft and uses photography as a way of telling people’s stories. He discovered his passion at the age of 10. He always volunteered to take his siblings pictures every time and would borrow his parents’ phone to capture interesting things he came across. “My business of being a photographer started to be recognised when I bought my first camera and I would go to the beach and shoot people. I would post those pictures on my Facebook and Instagram accounts and that is when people recognised and loved my work and started to make bookings,” Lazola ...
